General description:
The Festoon System is a mobile electrification system, which is a safe, effective and economical way of supplying power to cranes, hoists and moving machinery traveling along fixed tracks. It by using flat or round cable through cable trolley traveling on a C track, I beam, wire rope, angle bar or square/diamond track.
Festoon systems have been available for industrial applications for many decades now. In many cases, the festoon cable system over its extensive life provides a lower cost of ownership than conductor bar, open copper wire, cable reels, and power cords to name a few. Festoon systems can be a great option, particularly for short travel distances and if lots of control cabling is required.
and Stainless steel C track is one of the special festoon systems which is a good option for heavy corrosion environment.
